THE Boat Day

A typical Rees day out is one on the boat. Funnily enough I can't remember the last time that we went just as a family. Today was no different, with a small handful of our friends. The weather at this time of the year is close to perfect which is why I chose today to show you a typical boating day in the Rees household!

A good day is one that you return home sun kissed and merry. Needless to say that is exactly what happened, pink noses and pink cheeks all round.

The three glamorous mums were up on the deck soaking up the sun, with of course a glass in their hand. (Do bear in mind we had only been on the boat half an hour and it wasn't even lunch time, you can see what their priorities are)

While we started off our day with an unsuccessful fishing session. With five lines out you'd think we'd catch something...but not even seaweed was a victim to the lures. From left to right; Henry, myself, Ashleigh, Tyler and Will. The not so dream team.

And if you hadn't noticed already, we were testing out our new selfie stick; I was impressed to say the least...goodbye double chin selfies.

Myself and my favorite girlie out there, it would have been rude to not take lots of snaps.

This is where the real business went down, our lunch spot. Popping the anchor down and the corks out while looking out at this.

My dad asked to take this picture, despite the fact it isn't the most flattering of pictures, he kindly requested I posted it today.

Here is the man himself! Testing out the selfie stick up on the roof. It takes a lot to impress this man, but the selfie stick managed to fit the criteria.

Man Down!!

On the way back home, I couldn't resist taking this snap. It has to be one of my favorite and most snapped views, but it never fails to amaze me; even after six years.
