Christmas Countdown

It's that time of the year again to dig out the Christmas decorations from their hiding places and unpack them in haste.

Over the years the males of the Rees household have shown less interest in christmas decorating. So my mum and I took full advantage of it: we blasted christmas music through the house, put our christmas jumpers on and sipped mulled wine whilst placing our christmas treasures around the house and on the tree.

Unfortunately we live in a country where real christmas trees do not exist, which means the smell of pine and the choosing of our own christmas tree don't either. Sacrifices have to be made ladies and gents. We have a fake christmas tree. Hold back your gasps! We make up for the smell of pine with candles and room sprays, don't worry!

Since we are now on the run up to christmas, it is only right to dedicate the month of December to christmas and festivity. Because if you cannot tell, I bloody love it. So today's post is dedicated to the christmas treasures that have been placed in and around our tree.

So grab a christmas drink, pop some christmas music on (as loud as your ears can withstand) and tuck into this post. Because if you're not excited for christmas yet, you will be after this post!

And now it is on to the tree (the best bit).

With the help of a make shift tripod and self timer, we gave it our best attempt to snap a shot in-front of the tree. As you can see success isn't the first word that comes to mind...

I hope you're feeling festive now, but if you're not there will be plenty more christmas themed post's coming up!

Happy friday everyone xxx
