My best girl friend is back in Doha for the holidays, can you guess what we did? A spa day of-course.
We packed our spa essentials in haste and drove down to the beautiful St Regis.
The St Regis homes a luxurious Remede Spa, offering over a whopping 22 different treatments. We; myself, Georgie, Sarah and Helen, opted for the full body massage followed by an afternoon tea. And yes, it was as blissful as it sounds ladies and gents.
First things first, we hurriedly got ourselves into these dressing gowns and the coziest hotel slippers i've ever step foot in.
They didn't stay on long, as we were quick to take a dip into the jacuzzi. It was magical in there, we felt like the mermaids from H2o Just Add Water (10 points to you if you know what I am talking about).
After a steam and a soak, it was time to step into the massage room. Let me tell you, I didn't take my time in doing this.
Ladies and gents, if you haven't been to the St Regis to have a massage, do it. I couldn't possibly put into words how relaxing and therapeutic it was. But I will tell you this, at one point I almost fell asleep, not out of boredom of-course!
We stepped out of the massage room and into the relaxation room to put our feet up and have a cup of tea!
Can you guess what we did next?
Why of-course, more sitting and drinking tea! This time we had sandwiches and cake to keep us going.
Three English breakfast tea's for the three lovely ladies, while I opted for green tea.
First course was a selection of five different sandwiches, they were all delicious but the one on the far left was by far the best!
And as if that wasn't enough, we had a tower full of warm scones and pastries to wash it all down with. Mmm.
That concluded our lovely treat day at the spa. And i'd go back in a heart beat if I could. It was by far the most relaxing and therapeutic day i've had in a long time, definitely well needed! But more importantly I had great company to make it even better.
One thing's for sure, it wasn't a bad way to spend a Monday!
I hope you're having a lovely day.
