An old friend an i got together for a weekend to catch up and there is no better way to do it than a picnic in the beautiful English sun! So picnic baskets were pulled out of their hiding places and packed in haste.
We packed up our picnic basket with lots of goodies but most importantly in true English style...pims! (yum) and wandered down to this secluded field for our lunch.
We were all set up and ready to put a drink in our hands!
The weather was beautifully warm, it was perfect day for it. We also managed to sneak a little bit of sunbathing in - who would have though..in England! (Maddie even got a little burnt, oops)
Now its time for us to dig into our sandwiches and our fruit, yum!
We were lucky to have blue skies and a beaming sun to top it all off.

After all the chatting, laughing and food-eating the picnic came to an end. We packed up and marched back to the house having had a wonderful afternoon together.
